HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT A
BIKE AND REGRETTED IT?
If you've been in Nepal's used bike market, you already know. If you haven't yet — read this before you buy anything.
Meter Tampering Is Standard Practice.
In Nepal's unregulated used bike market, odometer rollback is not the exception — it's the norm. A bike listed at 12,000 km may have crossed 60,000. There is no way to know. Until now.
Accident History Is Never Disclosed.
Repainted frames. Welded chassis. Rebuilt forks. Nepal's recondition market is built on concealment. A fresh coat of paint is worth more than honesty. Every third used bike has damage that was never told to the buyer.
Your Money. Their Problem.
Post-purchase engine failure in week one. The seller's phone is off. The "warranty" was a verbal promise. Nepal has no platform that holds sellers accountable — so buyers absorb 100% of the risk, every time.
We built MOTOVO because we've seen this happen too many times.
Built on the frontlines of Kathmandu's automotive world—from managing massive spare parts supply chains to overseeing garage operations for hundreds of heavy-duty vehicles. MOTOVO wasn’t born in a classroom, it was forged in the grease and grit of real-world engineering. We didn't just observe the industry, we were the backbone of its supply chain.
HOW WE CERTIFY
A BIKE.
We don't judge a bike by how it looks. We audit its DNA across 4 technical zones using OBD-II scanners, paint thickness gauges, stethoscopes, and multimeters.
Every single finding is photographed and logged. The buyer receives a report where a non-technical person can understand the bike's condition within 10 seconds of opening it.
What we're actually looking for
Direct window into stored faults. A bad scan is instant REJECT.
Cold-start hollow knock = rebore required (NPR 25–60k).
Blue = oil burn. White = head gasket. Black = fuel system.
Hands-off road pull = bent frame. Frame damage is irreversible.
Non-factory weld = crash repair = REJECT. UV light fraud detection.
400+ microns = heavy repaint over crash damage. Bondo detection.
Removed warning LEDs hide faults — most dangerous seller fraud.
Overcharging (15V+) fries ECU, battery, and all sensors.
Melted wires = fire hazard = immediate REJECT. Five-zone audit.
Spongy lever = air in hydraulic line = brake fade = LETHAL.
Any bulge = imminent blowout. Cords visible = immediate danger.
Any crack = catastrophic failure. Below minimum = vapor lock.
Showing 12 of 50 inspection checks across all zones.
Each zone runs far deeper than what's listed here — this is just a glimpse of the standard. Every listed bike carries the full 50-point audit in its report.
THE GRADING SYSTEM.
Every bike that passes inspection receives a grade. The grade determines listing eligibility, pricing guidance, and warranty tier. One REJECT-flagged finding overrides any score.
Near-mint. Eligible for Platinum Shield.
All major systems healthy. Silver Shield.
Known issues fully disclosed in listing.
Repair required before listing eligibility.
Unsafe or fraudulent. Immediate rejection.
Full inspection reports available on the app — for every listed bike.

OUR BIKES.
No third party. No insurance company middleman. MOTOVO backs every warranted bike directly.
Warranty duration is determined by the bike's inspection score and condition grade — not a flat period for all bikes. A Grade A+ bike with a near-perfect audit gets more coverage because we're more confident in it.
Why we can offer this
We only list bikes that have passed a 50-point audit. By the time a bike reaches the MOTOVO marketplace, we know more about it than the seller does. That knowledge is what backs the warranty.
The inspection report is also our legal protection. Every claim is cross-referenced against the original inspection photos and findings. Fraudulent claims are automatically flagged.
Shield eligibility is visible on every bike listing in the app.

INSIDE OUT.
Nepal's used bike market has a trust problem that nobody was solving. Not Hamrobazaar. Not Facebook Marketplace. Not the recondition houses themselves. Every party in the chain — buyer, seller, mechanic — was operating without accountability.
Having managed massive spare parts supply chains and complex fleet operations across Kathmandu, we saw the industry’s dark side up close. We saw the tampered meters, the hidden structural welds, and the 'clean' titles that were actually flood-damaged wrecks. We watched people lose their life savings to polished lies. We decided to be the ones who stop it.
MOTOVO isn't a technology idea. It's a response to something broken. We built the inspection system first — before the app, before the branding, before any of this. The 50-point protocol exists because we knew the standard had to be hard enough to actually mean something.
The name? Motor Evolution. That's what Nepal's bike market needs — not just a new platform, but a new standard of how bikes are bought and sold.
In Nepal, a bike is more than a ride it’s years of sweat and sacrifice. It’s a dream that shouldn’t be shattered by tampered meters and polished lies. We built MOTOVO so your hard-earned savings buy you the truth, not a hidden disaster.
